Huff Ministries is dedicate to preach the gospel in the communities of our nation, so that lives will be changed by the power of the Lord Jesus Christ. Huff Ministries is a non-profit organization that goes in to the "art-risk communities" to administer a proven program. This program was birthed through the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding that the Lord Jesus Christ gave to pastor Von Huff, founder of Huff Ministries. By the power of the Lord men and women who were self-destructive have had life-changing experiences and are no longer the same people. Some are now Pastors, some successful business persons, and others hard working citizens who give all the glory to God for their healing from negative ways. Our technique is to offer a warm meal and shower while setting up an atmosphere in which we can begin to know them that we may council them in the ways of the Lord. Then we integrate those who want to change their way of living through our program. When they are built-up and anchored in the appropriate way of living, we then use them to be examples in the community to those who are bound by drugs and alcohol which only leads to violence, family abuse of all kinds, stealing, and mental disorders. By using men and women who are known in at-risk communities, they become living examples that there is HOPE in another way to live their lives without violence, drugs, and alcohol. When the parents' lives are changed, then children can grow in a healthy atmosphere.

Your support of any kind will be used in good stewardship to increase the number of the "at risk community" people who we can reach and influence. This will reduce the amount of crime and violence in our cities across the nation.

Our Goal

Our goal is to expand our facility and services, so that we may minister to more people. At the present time we have a church sanctuary, office, a one-year program, and a Workman's program. These need to be enlarged to meet the needs of the community. We provide a men's mission and discipleship teaching through the Word!

Results

In the last two years we have had hundreds and hundreds of men who have received help from our men's mission. Many go on to get jobs through our workman's program. Others are discipled through our one-year minister program. Huff Ministries also provides an outreach program where we go out into the community to feed the homeless. There is a great need for these types of services, and Huff Ministries is here to fill the need.

Needs

Prayer teams, praise and worship teams, teachers, monthly financial partners, fundraiser ideas and support and church volunteers to help serve the homeless and minister to them. Transportation vehicles (vans/buses) would be helpful to coordinate services and work. Ovens, microwave ovens, floor fans, washer and dryer and other household items. Bunk beds, bedding, and mattress would help. Our sanctuary could use 40 padded chairs, an overhead projector, and combined Old and New Testament Bibles for church service and outreach. Our worship services would be blessed by musical equipment. We would also appreciate car wash supplies such as power hoses, detergent, etc. for our fundraising activities. We need all sizes of diapers for the women and children. We also need diapers for disabled adults who are in need of them.
